This is focused towards student nurses wanting to spend their elective placement here at CUH.
CUH are able to offer an exciting opportunity for second and third year student nurses wanting to have their elective placement with us.
The Trust are able to offer a minimum of a four week placement and there are multiple clinical areas on offer for you access during an elective experience. Please be aware that at busy times there will be limited availability. This is to ensure that you are well supported during your time with us.
To arrange your elective placement please complete the elective placement application form, which is located at the bottom of this page and return it to: cuh.placements@nhs.net
Please allow a minimum of 16 weeks prior to your placement request as you are required to obtain an honorary contract with the Trust.
