T-level Industrial placements
T-Level industrial placements are linked to the T-level qualification studied at a Sixth Form / Higher Education College. To understand more about T-levels please see the Government website. The T-level qualification has set criteria for a hands on work experience with an employer.
Placements are available across the Trust in various departments, providing relevant experience to your course.

Placement details
Duration - these could be two days per week or a block placement for a set period of time towards the end of year 1 and in year 2, depending on the college curriculum.
Types of work:
Non clinical placements: assisting with duties in a busy office, reception duties, sourcing data or contributing to specific projects
Clinical placements: supporting clinical duties on a ward or clinic with supervision
Healthcare science placements: assisting lab technicians / Biomedical scientists with various tasks
If you are studying a T-level course which the above placements do not fall under, please contact Julia.schumann-pratt@nhs.net to discuss the option of a placement.
For all placements, you will be required to complete mandatory online of face to face training and receive full health clearance from the Trust's Occupational Health Team. Depending on your role, you may be required to apply for a DBS check.
